When my former dentist moved ( Ken) , he referred me to Lorna. Thankfully I live not to far from her office. It was a great experience from the very beginning. Then after I got married, I recommended him to Lorna because he was very dissatisfied with his former dentist. My husband said the comparison was night and day. It’s been more than a over a decade and although we moved, we certainly don’t want to go anywhere but continue with Lorna dental care services & with her team. Going to Lorna’s clinic, is kind a like going to a friends house. Welcoming, comfortable, warm & friendly.. All her dental technicians/hygienist are amazing and gentle every time. This is super important to be because, I have a bit of a dental phobia growing up. Lorna has extended her care to my mother-in-law (late 80’s) when she visited & chipped her tooth. Her dental clinic even donated dental items to the Philippines when a local volcano erupted displacing many. Lorna was quick to efficiently identified an early infection root infection and recommended me immediate for immediate root canal intervention. It’s was a great referral experience too. Her clinic is amazing and I will highly recommended her. My husband and I plan to continue to do so for many years. ❤️👍👌 - Jul 2023 

Our family has been with Dr. Okada for over 20 years and there are many reasons why we have stayed - plus made recommendations to others who have been so happy to have found this gem of a dental office. Dr. Okada is amazing and her staff is always so friendly and helpful. Dr. Okada is always available to give thorough explanations, explain multiple options for treatment with the pros and cons of each, and provides great recommendations related to ortho too. She is really full service! She has referred out our kids for ortho, done my ortho treatment herself, and our son just got his wisdom teeth pulled in her office by a surgeon she contracts with. The office staff is also great about accommodating family appointments together and working with our busy schedules. Over the 20+ years that we've had 5 family members receiving service multiple times each year there was only one error with a booked appointment that the staff immediately found a way to resolve for us. NB: ¡Se habla español! I have been with Dr. Okada since she bought her practice from the previous dentist at this location. The office was very close to my house (walking distance) and that was part of my decision when I moved to this area in 1976. But I STAYED with Dr. O--even after retirement and losing my benefits, even after moving to a new community--because of her skill and also, her compassion. Who loves going to the dentist??? Right??? But everyone at this location is professional, friendly and very honest about treatment options and their cost as well as the patient's comfort level or anxiety. Medicare will cover cleanings and x-rays for me, but I'd rather pay out of pocket to the doctor who knows (and cares about) both my mouth and my financial situation. I had to cancel recently, (unusual) and the office personnel were tireless in trying to work me in before my rescheduled appointment (weeks away.) The health of my mouth is the most important aspect of my dental care, but it's no small thing to have to pay for it, and I'd like to mention that Dr. O has been in a successful practice for quite a bit, and so she is in a position to have purchased her own equipment and doesn't have to send out to labs for every crown or etc. This gives the dentist direct control over the quality as well as being able to obtain it quickly. Last and least important: the office is conveniently located where there is plenty of parking! - Apr 2023 

We live in the neighborhood and for years I’ve been going to Milpitas for Dental care. Last year I finally decided to see Dr. Okada and her team. It’s been a great experience! Dr. Okada takes care of her patients like family. I like it that I don’t have to wait for my crown for weeks, she makes it in her clinic and have it at the end of your appointment. This review is way overdue. I have been a patient of Dr. Okada for over 5 years. She and her wonderful staff have been taking care of my teeth and gums. When I first came in I had a lot of "4"s, if you don't know what that is you don't have a good dentist. That has since improved and my teeth and gums are better. I've had fillings, cleaning and imaging done and have been very happy with the services provided. Dr. Okada is experienced, she's a wealth of knowledge, straightforward and sets the tone in this office. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. I can't say enough good things about this facility. My husband and I drive from Redwood City to get our teeth cleaned/taken care of here. I trust Dr. Okada and her staff. I am truly grateful for all their help. Shout out to Lilia and Gina who are the best dental hygienists. Lilia is super gentle, friendly and succinct on her explanations/instructions with dental care. I went to Dr Okada for an Invisalign quote and instead I found a new dentist! I had been with my previous dentist for over a decade and was always satisfied but after coming to a visit with Dr Okada and her team I was wowed!!! Dr Okada is knowledgeable, passionate about what she does and cares about her patients. She really takes her time to explain what you need and why you need it. She is honest and her priority is your care. I’ve now had a few fillings done, a new crown put in and one word I never thought I would say is both were PAINLESS! Lorna and team are 100% professional, she always explains the options available and does great work. The entire staff enjoy working with each other and you can tell they are like family. Lorna now does crowns inhouse, this makes it so we don't have have a temp crown then come back a few days later for another visit to get our permanent one installed.
