We at Lorna L. Okada, D.D.S., Inc, Inc. work to support our patients get the alluring, healthy smiles they deserve. As a moving part of the San Jose community for over 16 years, we have fostered the relationships we have with our patients, becoming more than just another local dentist. As a neighbor, our team of experienced dental professionals use cutting edge technology to produce accommodating service, convenience, and, most of all, straight forward dental education. Dr. Lorna L. Okada

Dr. Okada has enjoyed being a dentist since she graduated from University of the Pacific Arthur Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2001. 

Prior to this achievement, she completed her undergraduate studies at University of the Pacific and spent a year after dental school at a residency program at University of California San Francisco (AEGD @ Buchanan clinic). 

Born and raised in Honolulu, HI, Dr. Okada has enjoyed settling down in San Jose with her husband and two wonderful children. In her free time she enjoys spending time with loved ones, travelling, music, and is a bit of a foodie.

Dr. Julia Truong

Dr. Julia Truong grew up in the Bay Area, and from a young age she has always been curious about how the human body functions. 

She received her Bachelor’s in Human Biology from the University of California, Berkeley and her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she received the Dean’s Award for Leadership and the Academy of General Dentistry’s Outstanding Senior Student Award. 

She is passionate about providing quality dental care to her community so her patients can maintain a beautiful smile and live a healthy life.

When my former dentist moved ( Ken) , he referred me to Lorna. Thankfully I live not to far from her office. It was a great experience from the very beginning. Then after I got married, I recommended him to Lorna because he was very dissatisfied with his former dentist. My husband said the comparison was night and day. It’s been more than a over a decade and although we moved, we certainly don’t want to go anywhere but continue with Lorna dental care services & with her team. Going to Lorna’s clinic, is kind a like going to a friends house. Welcoming, comfortable, warm & friendly.. All her dental technicians/hygienist are amazing and gentle every time. This is super important to be because, I have a bit of a dental phobia growing up. Lorna has extended her care to my mother-in-law (late 80’s) when she visited & chipped her tooth. Her dental clinic even donated dental items to the Philippines when a local volcano erupted displacing many. Lorna was quick to efficiently identified an early infection root infection and recommended me immediate for immediate root canal intervention. It’s was a great referral experience too. Dr. Okada and the hygienist Lil are the BEST! I've been Dr. O's patient since she started her practice, and although I am a Medicare patient and pay out of pocket, I would not go elsewhere. My Plan B would cover cleanings and X-rays, but that's it. I'd rather go to a dentist and a hygienist who know my mouth and my history. Dental health is more and more important as we age... ... ...and both Dr. O and all her staff are kind and encouraging about solving problems or conditions with your dental health. - Sep 2023
